Waiting in the Cold

You are trapped somewhere in the depth of winter, stranded far away from civilization. Vicious biting cold surrounds you, nipping at your extremities, stealing what little precious Heat you have. It is intent to trap you here, in the cold wilderness where you are subject to uncaring fate. Its accomplices, rain, snow, and frost, surround you, intent on snuffing that flame of life.

But hope is not lost for Rescue is on the way! However, that will do no good if all they rescue are corpses. Work together, weather the charge, and hold on to that precious Heat till the very end.

Two to four players may play this game. All players begin with a hand of 5 cards and 10 Heat. Heat is a measure of life. It is a measure of whether you still possess enough life to survive Rescue.
